Louwman Museum

In The Hague, Netherlands, an unusual museum called the Louwman Museum opened in 1969.

It houses the world’s largest collection of cars from 1910 to almost the present day. The collection of over 250 cars was assembled by two generations of the Louwman family since 1934. The collection was initiated with the purchase of a 20-year-old Dodge by Dodge importer Pieter Louwman, the father of the current owner.

The museum features Winston Churchill’s car, the Aston Martin DB5 used in the James Bond film “Goldfinger,” and Elvis Presley’s Cadillac. Additionally, visitors can see 15 classic cars that remain, including those from the Dutch brand Spyker and the sole surviving Eysink (an automobile brand from Amersfoort), among many other examples from various years of the global automotive industry.

This marvelous constellation of automotive stars is open to the public every day from 10:00 to 17:00 for a ticket price of 15 euros. It’s well worth the visit!
