Have you heard about the mutineers who rebelled against the infamous British ship “Bounty” in 1789? No? Now I’ll tell you everything.

After the mutiny, the leader of the mutineers, assistant to Captain Fletcher Christian, along with part of the crew and several Tahitian women, settled on Pitcairn Island, which remains the most challenging and least populated island in the world. Only 47 people live there.

Reaching it is very difficult.

First, you need to fly to Tahiti, then from Tahiti reach Mangareva Island in the Gambier Islands group, and then, on infrequently sailing ships, you can get to Pitcairn. The ship cannot dock near the island itself, so cargo and passengers are brought ashore by a boat.

And voila – you are at the edge of the world!
